About

A bit about how I work

Frontend-focused full-stack engineer with a bias for craft.

I have spent 9+ years building production-grade SaaS across the stack — React, TypeScript and Next.js on the front, Node.js and Express behind it. Most of that work has been the same kind of problem: take a dense, data-heavy workflow and turn it into something a salesperson can move through without thinking about it.

For the last six years I have worked remotely with a Sweden-based B2B SaaS team, where I own code quality as much as features — reviews, mentoring, and the standards that keep a codebase pleasant to work in. I care about reusable component APIs, API integration that degrades gracefully, and the unglamorous performance work that makes a product feel quick.

I use AI-assisted development daily, with guardrails: it accelerates coding, reviews and debugging, but the quality bar stays where it was. Outside of work I play chess, and I rebuild my own site far more often than strictly necessary.

    Own frontend delivery across the product suite, from design-system primitives through release — and the engineering standards around it.

    • Designed and implemented a CRM companion app that increased user adoption by 10%.
    • Reduced core application bundle size by 20%, improving frontend build and load performance.
    • Collaborated with backend and design teams to improve UI/UX, responsiveness, and accessibility.
    • Use AI-assisted development (e.g. Claude) daily to accelerate coding, reviews and debugging, with quality guardrails.
    • Led a React Native (Expo) upgrade from SDK 48 to 57, resolving breaking changes and native build failures.
